ZMatrix 1.5.2

This is an application you could get if you are a fan of the Matrix trilogy, the Wachosky brothers directed action adventure sci-fi movies starring Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss and Laurence Fishburne. How come you ask? To answer that question I would have to explain what you are going to see after you finish downloading and installing the ZMatrix application.

Here is what you will see:
An animated wallpaper that looks like the falling lines of code in the Matrix movie. From time to time the lines of code will spell out “The Matrix has you.”
A screensaver that displays the same lines of code as the animated wallpaper; you have to select “Screensaver component” during the installation process to have the screensaver as well.

Once you’re done installing the ZMatrix application you will notice an icon in the system tray. From this system tray icon you can access the following:
- Double click it to access the Configure pane from which you can set the color and fonts the animated wallpaper uses, set the process priority, adjust the speed variance, and play with a few other settings.
- Left click it to pause the animated wallpaper, access the aforementioned Configure pane, refresh the animated wallpaper, and access a few screensaver settings.

Before you go get ZMatrix and put it to the test, take a look at the technical details presented below:
Download – the download weighs in at 2.0Mb, which is good news. It means the download will take very little time to complete.
Supported OS – according to the developer ZMatrix works with Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
Limitations – there are no limitations, you can use ZMatrix free of charge for as long as you want.
